HENRIETTA (KFDX/KJTL) — Henrietta is looking a little bit like Hollywood this weekend. A film crew from Under Armour has set up shop at Bearcat Stadium to shoot a commercial starring the reigning area champions.
According to representatives from Under Armour, the idea was birthed towards the end of the 2025 season, after a video went viral of fans sending off the team to their regional semifinal game on horseback and with a massive crowd.
Head coach Jay Jones said that the experience has been exciting and intense, and provides a rare experience for him and his team.
“Our kids have worked extremely hard this summer. And it’s fun to be able to have something like this happen after all the hard work they put in. You know, seeing something like this happen to them; they’re super pumped. It’s been a lot of fun just to be around them and see how they react to everybody. It’s been awesome, it’s been a lot of fun.”
The commercial is slated to air in early September as part of a larger series from Under Armour.
