The North Carolina Tar Heels entered the season finale at Duke as an 18.5-point underdog, mainly because of the injury to Caleb Wilson, which will keep him out for the rest of the year.

Even without Wilsom, the Tar Heels only trailed by five at halftime. And after a few minutes into the second half, they had the ball down 41-40. But after that? It was all Duke.

The Blue Devils went on a 24-2 run to grab control of the game and eventually win 76-61. Duke flat-out dominated the second half and controlled the game. For the Tar Heels, the effort just wasn't there, and following the game, one starter made sure to mention that while getting brutally honest.

“Once they went and kind of punched us, we didn't fight back," Henri Veesaar said. "We just folded.”

That included in the paint where North Carolina was dominated in rebounding. The Blue Devils out-rebounded the Tar Heels 42-29 and they allowed 18 offensive rebounds in the game. UNC really had no answer for Maliq Brown or Cameron Boozer in the game.

In fact, the Tar Heels had zero answers for the Blue Devils in the entire second half. And like Veesaar said, they just folded.
