While the Miami Heat are at home after a first-round playoff exit -- by way of being swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers -- former star forward Jimmy Butler is thriving in the Bay Area.

The former Heat star -- who once led the club to two NBA Finals appearances -- is now the co-star to Stephen Curry.

The duo had a brilliant end to the 2024-25 NBA regular season, and they captured a first-round victory as the Warriors downed the No. 2-seeded Houston Rockets in seven games.

Heat fans, after they watched their favorite team be swept in the first round, have to suffer watching their former star player enjoy success with a club he joined at the trade deadline.

While Golden State is tied 1-1 in a second-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, they are still alive for at least three more games, if not more.

Looking back, the two sides had a good run. However, while Riley is set for plenty of changes within the Heat's squad, Butler is aiming to prolong the Warriors' current playoff run.
