Seems that throwing out the "H" word is getting more and more prevelant around here these days. It gets pretty old when posters are at each others throats accusing them of hating one player (or owner, coach, etc...) or another.

If someone thinks Arrington is a bust, that's what they think. They don't hate him. In fact, they'd probably love him if he ran for just 80 yards per game from here on out.

If someone thinks Green messed up by playing QB roulette last year or by making roster moves, that's what they think. They don't hate Green. In fact, they'd probably love it if he won only 75% of his games for the rest of the year.

Everyone needs to chill on the "hate" stuff, okay?

I really hate it when someone tries to tell me how to post, when it is clearly within domain to hate a player (Tom Brady). Just my two cents, don't take it personally.

You can hate a player all you want, but I don't think you have a right to tell me I hate Dennis Green. Don't take it personally.

I hate it when people complain about people hating people who hate to use hating as a way to hate on players.:D

Don't hate the players, hate the game.

Haters, lovers, jockers, etc. Whatever....humans tend to group and its not that big of a deal. I only use the "h" word when I see posters who go completely blind on a player and refuse to see progress. There are some sure fire Josh haters out there. I was always considered a Josh Hater because I am outspoken in my opinion of him as a player. However, I was one of the first to give him his due props and call out things he's improved upon. But I'm fine being a hater if that's what someone wants to call me on this board.

I don't buy into the "sometimes words hurt more than fists" crowd. :)

I suprisingly DON'T hate this thread.

Same here, bro. I was considered a Josh 'hater', and I've never been. I just think he sucked. He's done pretty well in his limited time thus far this year, and has earned the job for the time being. He'll have to light it up big-time for the rest of the season for a shot at a new contract, IMO, but he has a chance now.

Agreed.

And when I use the word hate....I mean it.

But I am an angry, sour person so I guess that plays into it as well.

I hate all of you.

That is one of the funniest things I ever read on this board.

Depending on this weekend's games, I might just start hating the Cardinals.

I think the "hating"

thing stems from people who continually dump on someone and the DON'T give them their propers when the excell.
Take McCown, for instance. The guy has learned to check off and threw for almost 400yds. w/2 TD's his last two games. That's pretty good in my book.
The guys that came back out and gave him his props deserve props for doing so. Now, the other's who continually step on a players throat after those types of performances. Need the hate check!
Many times it's the way people convey their message that get's them labeled "haters".
Same thing with homers and jockers.
Now me, there's no mistaking my words, I'm definitely a homer.

I hate it when posters are so "definite" in their opinions... and, yet - can't spell the word... :D

You guys are misreading my post. I don't care if YOU hate something or someone, but to infer that someone else does because they don't care for an aspect of their football performance is just grating on my nerves. And I hate grating.
