Robinson, a receiver cut by Chicago last week, visited the Cardinals on Monday and Tuesday and was ready to sign a contract. The Cardinals, however, weren't prepared to make a decision that quickly, and Robinson was expected to catch a flight to Oakland for a visit today.

How much time do we have until we can offer a contract?? Any ideas??

Really??? When?? I heard a rumor yesterday but has that been confirmed? I took my quote right out of the article posted on AZCENTRAL dated 4/23/03.

I don't read he has been offered one. I read that the Cards were not prepared to make a decision (48hr rule)

If Robinson is insisting on a 1-year deal, giving him the opportunity to pad his numbers and then move on - I say pass on him. Why take experience away from McAddley and Gilmour in a year where we aren't going to the SB.

On another, but related point: I've been wondering whether the hang-up in the Jones to KC trade is that either or both teams are trying to expand this exchange to include one of KCs younger wideouts....

There is no such thing as the 48 hour rule!

I thought that Jim O. made that clear.

Is your head made of wood just like that stupid puppet?

We have already offered him a contract, and it didn't take 48 hours. Same with Blake, Hodgins, Darling, and Jackson.
