This seems a lot like wishcasting.

It’s much more likely Love was a Michael Bidwill pick and MLF didn’t have much to do with either of the defensive coach hirings. The defensive line coach in particular had been fired so the Cards may not even be paying most of his salary.
and
Doesn’t Teryl Austin have closer ties to Bidwill than Cosch Good Hang?
Please. I don't buy into the idea that MB could hatch an idea to spend extra money on an additional coach.
Lol. The only thing he ever had a hand in was bringing in Terrell Suggs.
NFL coaches do happen to know other NFL coaches. It's not like they're full time enemies. It's surprising what kind of
relationships develop among folks that share the same interests. MB likely never even heard of PK.

In Monti’s defense… he inherited Kyler’s contract. Crushed the first draft on paper with his trade down then back up to pick up top end draft capital plus a good LT. Just got super unlucky the Texans went from 2nd worst to 27th worst the next season. Marvin hasn’t performed but was everyone’s dream pick. Restocked the defense last offseason but got crushed by injuries this past year. Then gets a top 3 pick in a horrible QB class draft with no other blue chip players at premium positions.

Now where I don’t give him a pass is over his strategy this offseason. If he has a secret wink and nod with Mike to tank this year, sure, but I’m not sure he really does. Instead it feels like aimless cheapness by the organization.

Monti hasn’t been perfect by any stretch but he’s also had some horrible luck.

Sorry for the bad luck but were under no obligation to continue suffering under his cursed career.
