Harry Kane has officially obliterated the record for most goals by an English player in Europe’s top 5 leagues, cementing his status as one of the most accurate strikers in national history. The Bayern Munich superstar has taken his game to the stratosphere this season, shattering previous benchmarks with an astonishing 61 goals in the 2025/26 campaign.

Based on an infographic shared by Prime Video Sport, it is a staggering achievement that leaves the competition in the dust. To put Kane’s current form into perspective, his previous bests of 44 goals in 2023/24 and 41 goals in 2024/25 already placed him at the top of the heap. Even his impressive 41-goal haul from the 2017/18 season at Tottenham now feels like a mere warm-up compared to his current output in Germany.

English greats like Andy Cole, who managed 41 goals in 1993/94, Alan Shearer, and Robbie Fowler once held the standard for English marksmen. However, Kane has managed to redefine what is possible, having dominated the top ten list with five separate entries. Whether it’s his clinical finishing or his ability to link up play, Kane has truly perfected his craft.

Is there any stopping the England captain as he continues to chase even more records? Let us know in the comments!
