Sep. 17—BEMIDJI — The Harlem Globetrotters will stop in Bemidji as part of their 100 Year Tour, performing at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, at the Sanford Center, 1111 Event Center Drive NE.

According to a release, "Since 1926, the Globetrotters, proud members of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, have used their legendary global tour to showcase their iconic brand of basketball to tens of millions in over 124 countries and territories across six continents.

"The current team of Globetrotters holds an unprecedented 60+ Guinness World Records, the most of any team in any sport, including 18 set just last year."

During the game, the team will debut their new 100 Year jerseys as they face off against their longtime rivals, the Washington Generals.

Fans can also expect all-new surprises like the Golden Basketball by Spalding, pre-game

Magic Pass

experiences and a fifth-quarter autograph session that is free for all attendees, the release said.

"From gravity-defying dunks to game-changing tricks, fans will feel the history, the joy and the fun that only the Globetrotters can deliver," added the release.
