Greedy Williams released

He's a CB. He was a second round pick by Cleveland 4 yrs ago. He's 6'2". He runs 4.37 40. Phil let him go due to a crowded backfield.

Problem with Greedy is that he’s average in coverage and is allergic to tackling. Not sure he fits the mold that JG is looking for. Until we see our 3rd rounder Williams on the field, I’m not certain just how desperate we are at CB.

With Philly being one of those teams, I'm sure JG would know instantly if he wanted him back. If we did want him, I'm sure we would be a front runner as well.

especially considering that CB is a valued position

if it were really a case of him being a decent player stuck behind better players: Philly would have traded him for something

Not really. I hear his name often on Cardinal podcasts. Everything that I’ve heard is that he’s on the sidelines working in practice & is very close to returning.
