What a day. No way we can win. All the doubters.
But we won. Unbelieveable defense. That's our blueprint for the rest of the year....defense, no turnovers and great special teams. It won't be pretty...and it will be nerve racking.
Highlight! While Cards were finishing their warm up and starting to go back to the locker room, Antonio Cromartie went out of his way to walk up to us and hand my grandson his gloves.
If that wasn't enough we went to the exit by the buses where the players leave. Cromartie came out but was obviously was visiting with friends and family. We tried our best to get his attention so he could sign his gloves but we couldn't get to him.
HOWEVER, one of the security guards came over to us and said to give him the glove and he would see what he could do. He walked over to Cro and low and behold he signed the gloves!
Needless to say they are already in a shadow box frame along with a perfect picture of Cro on the field!
A forever keepsake, a Cardinal win, and a playoff birth to add to a storybook season.
