The Goffstown Junior Baseball 8-10-year-old All-Stars will represent New Hampshire at the Little League East Region Invitational this week.
Goffstown defeated Concord two games to one in the best-of-three state championship series. Concord won Game 1 by a 12-11 score, then Goffstown earned a 20-9 win in Game 2 and clinched the series on Sunday with a 19-1 triumph in Game 3.
The East Region Invitational will be held in Cranston, Rhode Island, and begins on Saturday.
This season marks the seventh time that Goffstown has won the 8-10-year-old state title.
