GMLOS girls still have three wrestlers in state bracket

Feb. 27— In the girls meet, three GMLOS wrestlers remain in bracket at the Class A state meet at Grand Casino Arena Friday.

Chloe Hubbard is still alive in the 106-pound bracket after she beat Josie Kurasz of St. Michael-Albertville with an 11-9 decision and she pinned Ava Gramith of MAHACA.

At 124, Zoe Steinkamp was eliminated when she lost 18-0 to Elli Levine of Hastings.

Steinkamp, a sophomore, finishes with a record of 23-7 overall.

At 148, Willow Dewey was eliminated when she was pinned by Emma Helgeson of Park Center.

Dewey, an eighth grader, finishes with a record of 12-14 overall.

At 155, Brandy Christenson stayed in the bracket when she pinned Carol Stevenson of Maple Grove.

At 235, Kloe Meyer lost her quarterfinal match to Libby Carlson of Chisago Lakes 6-0, but she pinned Peytin Welsh of Dover-Eyota to stay alive.
