BOSSIER CITY, LA (KTAL/KMSS) — The LHSAA girls flag football made its debut in Bossier City on Wednesday, with an inaugural jamboree.
Six schools from Northern Louisiana (Green Oaks, Booker T. Washington, Woodlawn, Homer, Union Parish, and Jonesboro-Hodge) showcased their skills on the gridiron with three 20-minute games.
The jamboree introduced student-athletes to the game, which continues to grow in Louisiana.
First Bossier hosted the event at Freedom Fields, which allowed many people within the community to show their support for a new era of girls flag football.
