The New York Giants continued their search for an offensive coordinator on Saturday with a virtual interview of Kliff Kingsbury, reports NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The move comes after the team hired John Harbaugh as head coach, but faced a setback when expected OC target Todd Monken opted for the Cleveland Browns' head coaching vacancy.
That pivot has opened the door for candidates like Kingsbury, who was previously of interest to the Giants during their head coaching search before Harbaugh's hiring.
Kingsbury, 46, most recently served as offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders in 2024 and 2025, where he helped orchestrate a dynamic attack centered on quarterback Jayden Daniels. Before that, he was head coach of the Arizona Cardinals from 2019 to 2022, compiling a 28-37-1 record while implementing innovative, air-raid-influenced schemes that emphasized quarterback development and mobility -- skills that could align well with the Giants' young quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Other names in the mix for OC include former Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan, as the team seeks an experienced play-caller to elevate its offense under Harbaugh.
