New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart received some backlash on Friday night after introducing President Donald Trump at a rally at Rockland Community College’s Eugene Levy Fieldhouse in the Empire State.

Dart welcomed the president onto the stage before Trump shared some bizarre, but friendly words toward the quarterback.

“Jaxson, you think you could play against women okay? You think you’d have any problem? I don’t think so,” Trump asked. “Don’t get involved, Jaxson. Don’t answer that question.”

Trump then went on to compliment Dart’s physique, saying, “I’m looking at the legs there. He’s this beautiful guy. He’s got legs like tree trunks. This is not a good thing for women. This would not be good.”

After the viral rally appearance, Dart faced some criticism from Giants fans and local radio personalities for showing up to the rally after the team wrapped up organized team activities earlier in the day.

Among those who criticized Dart was teammate Abdul Carter, the Giants’ No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Carter questioned Dart’s appearance with a clear statement on social media.

Thought this sh– was AI,” Carter wrote on X. “What we doing man?”

Uh oh. That’s going to be an awkward conversation in the Giants’ locker room.

Ultimately, players all across the league have different political views, so it shouldn’t be a situation that fractures the locker room, but it will be something that will become a talking point for everyone if the Giants get off to a slow start and Dart struggles.

You can already see the “Dart isn’t focused on football” narratives surfacing on social media.
