Hoffenheim forward Selina Cerci will miss Germany's first two matches in the women's World Cup qualifiers due to injury, the German Football Federation (DFB) said on Tuesday.

Details of the injury are unclear.

Cerci, who alongside Bayer Leverkusen's Vanessa Fudalla, is the women's Bundesliga top scorer with 12 goals, will be replaced by Werder Bremen's Larissa Mühlhaus.

Germany start the World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia on March 3 and Norway on March 7.
