The German Football Federation (DFB) and the Germany national team players are still in negotiations regarding the World Cup bonuses.
"Yes, we're close, it's looking good," defender Jonathan Tah said in a news conference on Thursday.
Tah and captain Joshua Kimmich are the players handling the negotiations with the DFB.
Germany start the World Cup against Curaçao on Sunday and it's unusual that details regarding the prize money aren't finalized before the tournament opener.
"We're having constructive discussions with the team council. But we're not conduction the negotiations in public," DFB president Bernd Neuendorf told dpa back in May.
The highest bonus to date was awarded to the last German World Cup champions in 2014 - €300,000 ($493,540) per player.
Most recently, the DFB paid €100,000 per player after the team reached the quarter-finals of Euro 2024. The European title would have earned the players €400,000.
