The No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs play the No. 6 Texas Longhorns in a College World Series elimination game for Bracket 2. In Bracket 2, the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide have been eliminated while the Oklahoma Sooners are off to a 2-0 start and are one win away from advancing to the national championship series.
The Georgia-Texas game starts at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN. The winner of the Georgia-Texas game will have to win two games against Oklahoma to advance to the national championship series while the loser will be eliminated. Georgia defeated Texas 7-1 on Saturday, but lost to Oklahoma 4-3 on Monday. The Longhorns bounced back after losing to Georgia in the opener with a dominant 14-2 win over Alabama.
Georgia opened as favorites against Texas. The Bulldogs won the SEC during the regular season and the SEC Tournament.
