Bourguet had a great first opponent in Colorado. UCLA is a much different beast

Coach Shaun Aguano says Trenton Bourguet has earned the right to be the starting quarterback.

I read or heard somewhere that UCLA's secondary is their worst unit, so maybe that will help. But ya, this is going to be way more difficult. Unless our defense shows up for a change, it is going to be high scoring game and it will be challenging for ASU to keep up.

I have been pretty disappointed by the defense. Not sure if it is the injuries or what, but they have really been underperforming. It would be a great game for them to get back on track.

38.9 points per game for UCLA, ranked lower than USC (41 ppg) and higher than Washington (38.7 ppg.) and Ok state (35.7). Surprised we didn't somehow fit in Oregon and Ohio State on our schedule too, lol. Kind of puts things in perspective.

UCLA's running attack just shredded the Stanford D that held ASU to field goals and shut it out in the 2nd half

Hopefully this guy will get lots of passes thrown his way on Saturday

I said in the game day thread it has been criminal how little ASU uses TEs this year and they have two huge targets at the position

Yep.

Tight end coach talking here seems to be saying that they haven't changed anything, it is just dictated by the defense.

But I think the quarterback change has a lot to do with it. TB has been able to read the defense and see the tight ends open.

Hopefully they will keep throwing to this guy too.
