It was a badly underthrown ball, but the ref backed up right into JJ Nelson's route & forced him to run around him & run deeper than the route was supposed to be.

So that ref somehow placed the the defender exactly where gabbert threw it. And the ref forced gabbert to underthrow it. All ref’s fault.
