We need to put Cam in the can. We need Foote to play at a high level today and we will take care of Cam, the Cardinals missed him big time when he was out

Just got back from breakfast.... eggs, bacon, frijoles, red chili. I'm pretty jumpy, hope it stays down.

I want to see some swagger on this defense early. I want a few great plays early and see our guys acting like bad asses because of late they have been starting games as if they are doing a walk through. Stuff a runner and let the crowd know it with a tad of arrogance :)

Anybody else worried that the NFL would probably sell their mother to get poster boy Scam into the second round?

I checked. This thread was started earlier, it should be the gameday thread.

How about it Bullhead?

Agree

We can't afford to let him have all day to throw and give him a lane up the middle to run around like the last 2 weeks. Getting to Cam and getting him on the ground will be one of the big keys today.

Oline play is the other big key. They have to establish the run game and give Lindley time to throw.

Hopefully when we try to 'contain' the running QB, that doesn't mean stop in your tracks and wave your hands as three or so guys around him just waiting for the QB to do something.

Hopefully it means, you are slower...under control...but still advancing pretty swiftly towards the QB. Also no leaving your feet unless you are seven to ten yards away from him.

Also hopefully PP forces the issue with the WR's and doesn't just become completely reactionary and slowly at that. No more, doesn't turn head and can't time the pass deflection, or turns his head right as the ball is going by him.

Hopefully Cromartie is all hit and no miss with his tackles. Sometimes it looks as if he's trying to avoid contact, and other times he lays the wood. No saving yourself today Cromartie.

John Brown needs to show up and catch a deep pass for us. Hopefully Floyd and Fitz too.

No stupid returns for Ginn.

Stop the run.

Hopefully Lindley at least matches his performance from last week (before the game pressed him into trying something.)

Taylor and Williams need to run hard.

A CC block of a Gano FG would be nice.

Honey Badger needs to show that in the playoffs he just don't give a...

Hopefully our guys are ready to play in weather, and that we packed the appropriate cleats so we don't potentially slip and slide everywhere.

Oh and receivers, no DROPS!!!! A DUDE sighting, and a positive one at that, would be great.

Bethel needs some quality special teams plays.

We got a chance to win this one. At least this season, it might be the easiest defense that Lindley has faced. I don't know if the following helps, but it will be at a regularly scheduled time for us to play this game. The game will kickoff at the same time that it would if it was a home or west coast game. For the panthers it will be after that and before what would normally be a east coast sunday/monday night football. Hopefully that helps us be in a familiar spot body rhythm wise and is beneficial while the Panthers are hopefully slightly out of sorts and in a negative body rhythm wise.

Go CARDS!!!

Keep the panthers under 100yds rushing & zero big plays & I think we can win with Blindley. Fig Newton won't beat us throwing the Rock!

Hopefully our secondary STAYS with their man when a play breaks down so we stop seeing huge completions down field when the QB is on the run :)

I'm just sick of hearing about how great the panthers are.

They were a losing team for a reason.
