Who knows what to expect from the Cardinals. The first quarter team? Or the team that collapsed in the second half?

So much will be based on the Oline not allowing pressure with 3 rushers and the D shutting down Carlos Hyde in the running game.

I expect us to come out and punch these guys in the mough. I don’t think SF will be able to stop our offense with the resurgence of CP3. Hoyer will force passes since their running game will be shut down and they will be forced to pick up long 3rd downs.

We've seen three games. There was one good quarter. Cards are not a good team. We can't run the ball so I doubt there's any "punch in the mouth." Sorry to be a wet towel before this game even begins but I find myself sitting here waiting for the game and not the least bit excited. I'm not even sure what I want to watch in this game. Certainly no young playmakers or young oline on offense. I guess maybe I can look forward to seeing if reddick or budda end up developing as playmakers.

Madden sees the 49ers as winners of this match ... that tells you that our team has to step up, to win.

I hope the team comes in hot and wins this one. We need it if we want be relevent in november.

I don’t see where we’re not a good team. We played a rough road game where we were outlasted against a team that was inches from beating the defending nfc champs from a year ago. Then on another east coast trip we won a hard fought game by coming from behind. Finally, played the defending nfc east champs and a team that was 13-3 a year ago tough, but saw the other team make big plays down the stretch. That’s a tough start to the season and today I feel like we see it click on every level, especially with Palmer finding his rhythm the last 5 quarters.

Just built up frustration, losing the game wasn't enough. Just needed to rip our hearts out and lose all hope for the season.
