Ronin didn't post up a game thread so I figured I would. Stinks I cant watch this now on fox AZ.

Score is tied 1 to 1.

Locastro would've made that catch. David is an average OF. They should trade him. I love the guy and the leadership he brings. But his bat has declined and fielding is not his strongest asset.

Robbie threw 99 pitches through the first 5 innings. Yes, he is a strikeout pitcher, but
he has become his own worst enemy. Way too many pitches.

And, sure enough, once at 100 pitches, he gives up a home run. D-backs are down 3-1.

Peralta was our only dependable clutch hitter.

Now Marte and Escobar fill that role.

And the Freight Train spends a lot of time on
the side rail out of service. :(

Said to say, but I agree. Peralta would be a
good DH in the American League.

But Locastro is not the answer in LF. It is a
power position. If Dyson is moved, Locastro
would be a good replacement at leadoff and
Center Field.

If Tomas has gotten his act together, and
especially with his overwhelming salary on
the books, he'd be a candidate for LF.

Tying run at the plate in the top of the 8th,
with the heart of the order up with one out,
but the D-backs leave the bases loaded.

Sill 5-1 Miami. We had our chance.

D-backs go down harmlessly in the 9th.

The finale is at 4PM tomorrow,
which is a night game in Miami.

The D-backs are going to be a tired
team traveling to New York for a
2-game series vs. the Yankees, the
second of which is a day game.

Final score today. 5-1 Marlins, who
lead the series 2-1.

So seven games against the absolute worst baseball has to offer and the best they can manage is 4-3?

One more vs. Miami in an unusual Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon series.

It will be interesting how it works out.

BTW, Torey announced that he is removing Holland from the closer role
and rotation and no one will have a regular role.

Just like he treats his starting lineup.

Desperation management? Hardly the formula for team that hope to win.

Yeah, this team is incredibly frustrating, I am losing interest fast and with the other major sports coming up I won't likely even have the games on anymore. They aren't fun to watch, their inconsistency in many different facets of baseball is maddening; they are incredibly frustrating to watch. I would almost us be 20 games under .500 with a significant goal on rebuild then this ambiguous "do we sell or not sell" kind of attitude.
