I had PMed Keebali (alan_we) about the problem as soon as it came up. He said that he would look into it.

Well instead of actually "fixing" the problem he PMed me this AM and stated that since the #'s were SO HIGH they decided to take everybody's amounts that they had and divide it buy 1 million. The # remaining is what you ended up with. Thus making it proportionate across the board. Sounds good in theory but people that had 40 million etc.. end up with 40 bucks. So it sucks for them.

Also doesnt solve the issue of people who already have HUGE bets in vbookie events that were already created prior to this. This will make them the leaders when technically they shouldnt be in the lead at all. Even if they cancel the event it still will make those people richer than most others who should be the leaders.

My vote if we can is to just start over. I think it would be fair to give all contributors 10,000 to start and all other 1,000 to start.

We should make a poll and see if we all agree and see if we can get alan to do this for us? I dont mind cus I know I will end up smoking you all again anyway

The problem is, people that placed bets on open events, before the "division" of the money didn't get their money reduced in the bets. Look at the open events like "Early Games".

So you know how I personally feel.I even had just given almost 500 billion away that same day I placed the bet.

We can all get back to where we were once some of us start spreading the wealth again.I'm all for it.Especially if I win on Sunday.I've been pretty good so far with how and what I bet on.I've won more than I lost everytime I think.Not in the order of Mulli or O who can make such large bets that when they pay off they rake it in.

Those that made too much money earned it by making the best bets you can make and won what they had and probably earned it too.Its the most unfair to them really.Just think of having a quadrillion dollars and now its down to the millions.They have more to be upset about I think.

I wish we could keep the players ranked the way they were and just bump up the zero's again to make it fair again.I'm sure the higher winners will keep giving away as they did before.I know I will.

Not really that unfair because most of you that were in the billions/trillions were there because those of us that actually earned it was giving it away like candy on Holloween

I agree.If its happened now and we can't get it back.Then it can happen again.Shane once you've got the big money you can make many,many trillions at a time with a couple or three correct bets.So its much easier to make bigger amounts the more you have.We all know that.

Plus others were giving it away.Some did'nt give much at all away for what they had.It sure made a guy feel welcome to have gifts given to him and to see him not squander it but double it.

Frankly, I don't know how I feel about this.
The fact that Keebali just arbitrarily did this without any sort of notification or warning is disturbing to me and I don't like it or consider it fair in any way shape or form. They did not fix the existing problem they just created a new larger one and penalized a lot of people.
That being said, at this point in time the only fair way, for everyone involved, is to start over.
Shane's suggestion works for me.

Yup. Inflation is assured if there is an unlimited pool to pay out bet winnings.

Give everyone 10,000 on top of what we got now (post adjusted). That way everyone will have at least 10k to start with. That helps out Pariah and Gad (who has a wopping 7 dollars..They guy can barely buy a happy meal now).

Also, cancel the early game bet. And recreate it.
