For the 12th straight season, FSU softball is hosting an NCAA Regional. The Seminoles found out Sunday night that they are the No. 9 overall seed in the 2026 NCAA Softball Tournament.
FSU is set to host the No. 2-seeded UCF Knights, No. 3-seeded Jacksonville State Gamecocks, and No. 4-seeded Stetson Hatters in the Tallahassee Regional at JoAnne Graf Field. The winner of the regional will advance to face the winner of the Los Angeles Regional in the NCAA Super Regionals, which is hosted by the No. 8 UCLA Bruins.
The Seminoles are looking to make a return to the Women's College World Series, a play they have not been since 2023, when they finished as the runner-ups. FSU is entering the postseason hot, winning the ACC Tournament Championship for the first time since 2023, and is an impressive 31-2 at home this year.
They will get to return to action on Friday, when they open the double-elimination tournament against Stetson. The regional will last until Sunday, and here is the full schedule for all three days of action and each of the games.
