Florida State basketball guard Cam Miles is entering the transfer portal, according to On3's Joe Tipton. He is the first FSU player to announce he will be transferring.
Miles played in 25 games as a freshman for the Seminoles, averaging 5.4 points, 1.7 assists, and 1.0 rebounds in 13.9 minutes per game. He shot 36.1% from the floor, 21.6% from 3-point range, and 67.6% from the free-throw line. He had 17 steals and 21 turnovers on the season.
He is originally from Chicago but signed with FSU out of IMG Academy. He was ranked as the No. 268 overall player and No. 31 combo guard by 247Sports in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Miles and forward Thomas Bassong made up Luke Louck's transition high school recruiting class.
Miles has not been ranked as a transfer and will have three seasons of eligibility at his next school. He scored 10 or more points four times for FSU, including a career-high 17 points against UT Martin. He shot 7-10 that game and 3-6 from deep to go with three assists and three steals.
The transfer portal is set to open on April 7 and will last until April 21. FSU signed seven transfers last offseason as Loucks worked to build his roster. With FSU signing a top 10 recruiting class with five four-star prospects coming, they are not expected to be as active ahead of his second season in charge.
