FSU football recruiting: Seminoles land 4-star Za'Kari Johnson

Florida State football has landed a commitment from recently reclassified 4-star prospect Za'Kari Johnson; he announced on his social media.

The Miami Carol City athlete will come to Tallahassee as a defensive back after playing both offense and defense in high school.

He had over 1,200 all-purpose yards and 11 touchdowns while recording 10 tackles, four pass breakups and an interception for Plantation.

He is the 14th overall commitment for the program in the class of 2027, and the fourth 4-star commitment and second defensive back to join the program.

With Johnson's commitment, the Seminoles' class ranks 53rd overall in the nation.
