The FSU Seminoles got an early commitment from Chayse Brown, a three-star prospect in the 2028 recruiting class. The Ruskin, Florida product is set to have a busy fall and just locked in five game day visits, including one with Florida State.

Brown will be in Tallahassee on Aug. 29 when the Seminoles open the 2026 season against the New Mexico State Aggies in Doak Campbell Stadium, according to Kolby Crawford of Noles247. He also reiterated that his commitment is rock-solid.

"Yes sir definitely, 100 percent locked in to FSU," Brown said.

Despite that, he is set to visit four other programs during the season. The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder will also see the Florida Gators (Sept. 5), Louisville Cardinals (Sept. 19), LSU Tigers (Oct. 10), and North Carolina Tar Heels (Oct. 24).

Brown is ranked as the No. 611 overall player and No. 51 athlete in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 79 player from Florida.

He played on both sides of the ball at Lennard High School as a sophomore. He finished the year with six tackles and one interception on defense. He also caught 20 passes for 334 yards and three touchdowns.
