Florida State baseball's final ACC regular-season road series takes the Seminoles into hostile territory to face rival Clemson, with game one set for 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8, from Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

The No. 14 Seminoles (34-14, 15-9 ACC) enter the series against Clemson on the back of a sweep over Pitt, a bounce-back series for the program after being swept by Stanford the week prior.

The Tigers (29-20, 8-16 ACC) have underperformed this season, but have won three straight games, all against ranked opponents, entering the series. Clemson took the series against No. 22 Boston College and beat No. 8 Coastal Carolina on the road in a midweek showdown.

Wes Mendes will toe the rubber for the Seminoles in game one, facing Clemson right-hander Dane Moehler. While the Tigers have struggled this season, the team has played its best baseball at home with a 19-8 home record, which could be a challenge for an FSU program that is 8-8 on the road this season.
