Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova will compete in the women’s doubles final on Sunday, June 7.
Townsend and Siniakova last won a Grand Slam at the 2025 Australian Open. This would be a maiden win at Roland Garros for the team who started playing tennis together in 2024.
However, it would have added significance for each person individually and for the team collectively.

Townsend, partnered with Leylah Fernandez, was a 2023 French Open doubles finalist. That was an emotional loss particularly for Fernandez who Townsend was spotted consoling on the sidelines afterward. A win on Sunday would give Townsend her first French Open win.
Siniakova won three previous Roland Garros titles: two with Barbora Krejcikova and one with Coco Gauff. It would be the first Grand Slam where she wins a fourth title. (She won three each at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.)

Siniakova would also win her 37th career WTA doubles title, surpassing Sara Errani and Su-wei Hsieh. Currently, all three future International Tennis Hall of Famers are tied with 36 titles.
