Eintracht Frankfurt are without yet another forward after the club said Ansgar Knauff underwent an abdominal procedure and was ruled out until further notice on Tuesday.
In the weekend's 3-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach, new signing Arnaud Kalimuendo had to leave the pitch with a shoulder injury.
Forwards Jonathan Burkardt, Younes Ebnatoulib, Michy Batshuayi and Can Uzun were already absent and could miss Frankfurt's trip to leaders Bayern Munich on Saturday.
New coach Albert Riera is also without full backs Rasmus Kristensen and Arthur Theate due to injury.
