France set to make five changes for Norway game

France, already qualified for the knockout stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, will make five changes to the side that beat Iraq 3-0 earlier this week, as per a report from L’Équipe.

The publication understands that Aurélien Tchouaméni, who was dropped for Manu Koné against Iraq, is set to return to the starting XI. It is Adrien Rabiot who could make way.

William Saliba, who confirmed that he is managing a back issue – and has been for several months – is set to be rested. Crystal Palace defender and Chelsea target Maxence Lacroix is set to start in his place. He is set to start alongside Dayot Upamecano.

On the right of the defence, Jules Koundé could make way for Chelsea’s Malo Gusto. There could also be a change on the left, although this is less certain. Théo Hernandez could come back in for Lucas Digne.

Up front, there is the possibility of seeing Ousmane Dembélé rested for France, whilst Désiré Doué is expected to come back in for Bradley Barcola.
