France enters the 2026 FIFA World Cup as one of the favorites to take home the championship, sitting in Group I along with Senegal, Iraq, and Norway. The French squad was the runner-up at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Les Bleus are captained by Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé, who won the Golden Boot as the tournament’s top scorer in 2022, scoring a hat-trick in the final against Argentina.
