Every season, there is that one team that comes out of nowhere and surprises the rest of the NFL. Last season, the Saints really found themselves late in the year and went on quite the run. If the Saints add Trojan playmaker Makai Lemon this season, they could be that surprise team.

In his latest mock draft, Joel Klatt reiterates how good a landing spot the Saints would be for Makai Lemon. Here is what he had to say:

"I actually had the Saints taking Lemon in my most recent mock draft because the fit for him in New Orleans with quarterback Tyler Shough was too good to pass on. That’s why I think the Saints should take Lemon at No. 8 in this exercise as well. I love the idea of putting him in head coach Kellen Moore’s offense. He’s a magician in space. He had the best feel for space among all college football wide receivers this past season, especially in the interior."

Kellen Moore has proven himself as an offensive mind, and he can elevate the pieces he has on his offense. The Eagles win a Super Bowl with him as offensive coordinator, and the Saints look like a competent offense with him as a head coach. He would be a great coach to turn Makai Lemon into a top receiver in the league early. Makai Lemon would thrive with the Saints and be the perfect weapon for Shough.
