Seattle defeated Kansas City, 33-16, Friday in NFL preseason Week 2 at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.

Former Tennessee football player Omarr Norman-Lott appeared in the game for the Chiefs as a defensive tackle. He recorded one quarterback hit in the contest and was one of two former Vols to play in the game for Kansas City.

Offensive lineman Trey Smith, who recently became the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history, started for the Chiefs.

Norman-Lott aggravated an ankle injury in the first quarter.

The rookie was selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft (No. 63 overall) by the Chiefs. He was the ninth defensive tackle selected in April.

Norman-Lott recorded 44 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, 9.5 sacks and one fumble recovery for the Vols from 2023-24. He transferred to Tennessee from Arizona State ahead of the 2023 season.
