The life of an NFL quarterback can often become one of being a journeyman, where you are good enough for the league, but no team can seem to want to marry you and make you a franchise piece. For one quarterback, his football life will be looked back upon with some good times, bad times, and even some curious ones.

Through it all, everyone has appreciated their time with former first-round pick Teddy Bridgewater. While they may have enjoyed that time, he is now stepping away once again from life as an NFL quarterback.

On Sunday, Detroit Lions quarterback Teddy Bridgewater retired from the NFL for a second time, according to his head coach, Dan Campbell.

Over the course of his 10-year career, which began in 2014, he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, and New Orleans Saints.

The peak of his career was earning a 2015 Pro Bowl selection. Over his entire career, he completed 66.3% of his passes for 15,182 yards and 75 touchdowns in 83 games with 65 starts.
