Former Vanderbilt women's basketball star Justine Pissott signed a standard contract with the Las Vegas Aces for the rest of the season, the team announced on July 7.

Pissott, 22, was drafted in the second round of this year's WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever and signed a development contract with the franchise. She played in one preseason game for the Fever.

Las Vegas signed Pissott to an offer sheet and Indiana declined to match it, The Indianapolis Star reported on July 7. Pissott joins the Aces' standard 12-player roster.

The Aces waived Chennedy Carter in a corresponding move.

Pissott transferred from Tennessee to Vanderbilt in 2023 and played in Nashville for three seasons. The forward hit 42.2% of her 3-pointers in 2025-26 and was one of the main pieces in Vandy's Sweet 16 run.

Pissott was the first Vanderbilt player drafted since 2014.
