Carter was the fourth overall pick by the Atlanta Dream in the 2020 WNBA Draft. She played for the Dream for only two seasons, but it was still a controversial tenure.

During the 2021 season, the Dream suspended her indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team.

The guard was then traded to Los Angeles. After playing 24 games for the Sparks in 2022, she was waived.

Carter did not play during the 2023 season, but returned in 2024 with the Chicago Sky. She played 33 games that season and averaged career numbers with 17.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

The guard did not re-sign with Chicago and missed the entire 2025 season. She returned in 2026 on a one-year deal with the Aces. Before being released, Carter played in 13 games and averaged 12.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 16.9 minutes per game off the bench.

Pissott, 22, played collegiate ball at Tennessee and Vanderbilt. She was drafted in the second round of this year's WNBA Draft, 25th overall, to the Fever.

The rookie has yet to play in a regular-season WNBA game, but could get that opportunity as depth for the Aces. In her lone preseason appearance, Pissott tallied 8 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in 10 minutes.
