In what can only be described as an exciting week of free agency moves, one former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has found a new home in the AFC East.

Earlier in the week, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that ex-Steelers quarterback Kyle Allen signed a two-year, $4.1 million deal with the Buffalo Bills, where he'll be tasked with backing up superstar quarterback Josh Allen.

Signing with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2018, Allen appeared in 15 games over two seasons before he was traded to the then-Washington Football Team in 2020.

After two seasons with Washington, Allen played for the Houston Texans in 2022 and the Bills in 2023.

He signed a one-year deal with the Steelers in April 2024 and was the third-string quarterback behind Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.

After a 2025 stint with the Detroit Lions, Allen heads back to the Bills, where he remains one of the top backup options in the league.
