Former SeaWolves outfielder Max Clark, the top prospect in the Detroit system, is being called up to the Tigers according to multiple reports.
Clark, 21, was the third overall pick in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft by the Tigers out of Franklin Community High School in Indiana. The two players drafted in front of him were Pirates starting pitcher Paul Skenes at No. 1 and Washington outfielder Dylan Crews at No. 2.

Clark quickly rose the minor league ladder as he reached Erie at 20 years old. He hit .252 with 15 extra-base hits, including seven home runs, and 20 RBIs in 43 games.
Clark spent this season with Triple-A Toledo, hitting .276 with 20 doubles, 11 home runs and 42 RBIs in 90 games.
Clark is one of several former SeaWolves to reach Detroit this season, including pitcher Woo-Suk Go and position players Trei Cruz, Eduardo Valencia, Ben Malgeri, Kevin McGonigle and Hao-Yu Lee. Former SeaWolves Matt Seelinger (Mets), Eliezer Alfonzo (Dodgers) and Jim Jarvis (Braves) also made their MLB debuts this season.
