Luke Maile and Jonathan India, who both played the 2024 MLB season with the Cincinnati Reds, homered Sunday for the Kansas City Royals, which hit a franchise-record seven home runs in an 11-6 win against the Baltimore Orioles.

It was the first homer as a Royal for both players. It was Maile's first game for Kansas City. The Covington Catholic High School grad was recalled May 2 from Triple-A Omaha.

The Royals entered Sunday with an MLB-low 18 home runs through their first 34 games.
