After making it to a Super Bowl as the WR1 for the New England Patriots last season, Stefon Diggs finds himself with another new team.

Diggs, who started his career with the Minnesota Vikings before joining the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans, is reportedly set to sign a deal with the Washington Commanders.

"Former #Patriots WR Stefon Diggs is set to sign with the #Commanders, sources say. With an offseason at full health, Diggs is ready to hit the ground running as a key weapon for Jayden Daniels in Year 3. The QB-friendly WR should help," Ian Rapoport reported.

New England showed throughout the earlier stages of the offseason that it didn't have much interest in bringing Diggs back. Once the Patriots decided to trade for A.J. Brown, it became rather obvious that Diggs didn't have much of a spot in New England.

However, he was somewhat productive a season ago, posting 1,013 yards and four touchdowns. With 85 receptions, it was the fewest Diggs had in a season in which he had at least played in 15 games since 2019, and the fewest amount of yards that he's posted in a season since 2018.

While he might not be the same type of player that he once was, this isn't a bad buy-low option for Jayden Daniels and the Commanders. Reports had indicated that Washington was looking for wide receiver help, and it got exactly that with the former Patriot.
