Former North Mecklenburg High School star Isaiah Evans has found his NBA team.
The Minnesota Timberwolves agreed to acquire Evans’ draft rights after a trade with the Brooklyn Nets. The trade is expected to be finalized later.

Evans spent the last two years at Duke and averaged 15.0 points and 3.2 rebounds last season.
At North Meck, Evans was a McDonald’s All-American and North Carolina’s Mr. Basketball. He also had his jersey retired.
