A former Nebraska quarterback/tight end has received an invite to an NFL rookie minicamp with the defending Super Bowl Champions. Heinrich Haarberg will try out for the Seattle Seahawks after not being selected during the 2026 NFL draft.

Haarberg played at Nebraska from 2021 to 2025. He spent his first four years in the program as a quarterback before making the switch to tight end for the 2025 campaign.

The Nebraska native appeared in all 13 games last season with one start. He had eight catches for 52 and one touchdown as well as nine yards on nine carries.
