A former Nebraska defensive lineman has found a new home for 2026. Keona Davis has transferred to the Miami Hurricanes for next season.
This is the second consecutive season Davis has entered the portal. Last year, he returned to Nebraska after considering departing.
In 2025, he had 42 total tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. Nebraska has seen significant changes to its defense since the season ended.
The Cornhuskers have hired Rob Aldrich to replace John Butler as defensive coordinator, while hiring Corey Brown as the new defensive line coach. Aldrich is changing Nebraska's defensive scheme in 2026, moving on from the 3-3-5 and adopting a 4-2-5.
