England centre-back Millie Bright, who won Euro 2022 before leading the Lionesses to the 2023 World Cup final as captain, has announced her international retirement at the age of 32.
The Chelsea captain missed England’s triumph at Euro 2025 due to mental and physical burnout, but has returned to action for her club this season.
She announced her international retirement on her podcast, along with former England team-mate Rachel Daly.
