Former Lady Vols basketball star Talaysia Cooper has committed to Ole Miss out of the transfer portal, she announced April 8.
Cooper led Tennessee in scoring the last two seasons, and she averaged 16 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.7 steals and 2.8 turnovers in 26.3 minutes per game this season. The 6-foot redshirt junior shot 42.9% from the field and 34.3% on 6.1 3-point attempts per game, which was a 7% improvement from last season.
Cooper announced her intentions to enter the portal on April 2, and she was the seventh Lady Vol to do so. Since then, all eight possible returners have entered the transfer portal.
