One of Clemsonbaseball’s most productive hitters from the 2026 season is headed to the SEC.

Former Tigers standout Nate Savoie announced Monday night that he will continue his college career at Texas A&M, giving the Aggies another proven bat through the transfer portal. Savoie spent just one season in Clemson after transferring in from Loyola Marymount, but he quickly made an impact in the middle of the lineup.

The versatile right-handed hitter appeared at multiple positions throughout the season, seeing action behind the plate, in the outfield and at designated hitter. No matter where he played defensively, Savoie consistently delivered at the plate and emerged as one of the team’s top run producers.

Savoie finished the year batting .329 with 16 home runs and 52 RBI. His power was on display throughout the season, as he also recorded 16 doubles while posting a .596 slugging percentage. Several of those marks ranked among the best on the Clemson roster, helping the Tigers put together another strong campaign.

Prior to arriving at Clemson, Savoie established himself as one of the top young players on the West Coast during his freshman season at Loyola Marymount. He captured West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year honors in 2025 after hitting .300 with 20 home runs and 61 RBI in 51 games. He also totaled 14 doubles, one triple and scored 42 runs while compiling a .675 slugging percentage.
