Former Bruin Andrew Raycroft is speaker at 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards

The 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards is happy to announce that former Boston Bruins rookie of the year Andrew Raycroft is the guest speaker for the live event on June 25 at the DCU Center in Worcester.

Raycroft is a former Bruins goaltender who won the Calder Trophy with the club in 2004 as rookie of the year.

In all, he played in 11 NHL seasons, including with the Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars, winning 113 games.

Since 2014, he has been a volunteer assistant coach for UConn, and is a studio analyst for the Bruins. He is the host of a hockey podcast entitled Morning Bru with Jaffe and Razor.

The 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards are part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards program. Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be obtained here.
