After just five seasons in the NFL, former Cleveland Browns pass rusher Joe Tryon-Shoyinka has called it a career. This comes after just signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL free agency this past summer.
A former first round pick, Tryon-Shoyinka was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the end of the opening night of the 2021 NFL Draft. However, his time in Tampa was rocky as the Buccaneers did not pick up his fifth-year option. He then hit the free agency market in 2025 after four seasons with the Bucs. Tryon-Shoyinka then signed with the Browns on a one-year deal a year ago.
Tryon-Shoyinka's time with the Browns was brief, however, ending after just eight games. He was dealt to the Chicago Bears at the trade deadline a year ago after accumulating just nine tackles, no sacks, and no tackles for loss.
He now rides into the sunset.
